The complex consists of 16 exercises, the total duration of the complex is 47:09 min
REQUIRED ACCESSORIES: a gymnastic step, bars or a handrail
Important! Pay attention to proper breathing during exercises. Remember: first inhale through the nose, and then while exhaling through the mouth, perform movement related to load, effort or stretch.
All exercises are divided into stages (sets). Each stage includes the main rehabilitation components of the complex process of gait recovery after various injuries, mainly: pelvic and pelvic girdle injuries, lower extremity injuries and spinal injuries.
At each stage exercises are aimed at: stretching and strengthening muscles, improving joint movement and increasing the range of joint movement, improving balance and stability, and proper balance when walking.
The rehabilitation set should be generated and designed taking into account and depending on the severity of an injury, post-traumatic period, a patient’s physical and psychological condition. Considering the multifactorial nature of the problem, it is strongly recommended before starting the recovery process (as well as, during the entire process), to consult with a physiotherapist or a rehabilitation physician, to select the correct set of exercises in accordance with a patient’s capabilities and health condition.
This section describes the exercises in 4 stages – elementary, intermediate, advanced and very advanced – for athletes, respectively, according to the intensity and progress in the recovery process.
