IMPORTANT! Take safety precautions to prevent falling during an exercise, especially exercises to improve balance and coordination, improve walking and transfers. Therefore, part of the exercises should be performed while adhering to stable surfaces: railings, chair backs, handrails, bars.
To set a correct walking rhythm, it is recommended to use: a metronome or a voice command (counting aloud), or rhythmic music
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: in accordance with the stage of the disease progression, it is necessary to form a set and program of rehabilitation exercises that are appropriate for the current patient’s physical condition and status. Accordingly, in a long-term prospective, for that, it is recommended to undergo an examination and consult with a rehabilitation physician and a physiotherapist. It is recommended to learn and perform advanced or new exercises with assistance of a family member or an instructor or trained caregiver.
It is recommended to select 2-3 exercises from each direction to form the complex. Perform once a day.
In addition to rehabilitation exercises, the following types of physical activity are recommended:
1. Walking at a normal pace: 50 min 3 times a week
2. Exercise on an exercise bike: 10-15 min 3 times a week
3. Exercises with dumbbells: 10 min 2 times a week
4. Yoga
5. Feldenkrais
6. Swimming and exercises in the water, etc.
